An ex-law faculty dean of Delhi University, Prof SN Singh, filed a complaint with Tilak Marg police station on Thursday in respect of the alleged sexual harassment of an intern with a former Supreme Court judge, reported the Times of India today.
In his complaint, according to the paper, he said that in addition to the original allegation, “three other girls were sexually harassed by the same person and four other girls faced harassment from other persons”. He filed under the Indian Penal Code’s section 354:
Whoever assaults or uses criminal force to any woman, intending to outrage or knowing it to be likely that he will thereby outrage her modesty, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
Singh was presumably relying on an interview given by the intern to Legally India on Monday, in which she said that “I’ve heard of three other cases [of sexual harassment] by the same judge and I know of at least four other girls who’ve faced harassment from other judges - not perhaps as [bad as mine]: most of them were in the chambers of the judge and other people around, so it never gets too bad”.

You are right....... Thanks for the comments. In continuation of your comments I would like to inform you that one of the Faculty of NUJS in 2009 also raised the illegal functioning of NUJS VC and the SC and EC which then exposed a Financial scam in NUJS through RTI.
VC and Judge nexus was alo proved when the resolution of the EC dated 8th May 2010 called for University Review Commission which was not consitituted by the Ex- CJI and the then Chancellor of NUJS. rti Also from NUJS reavealed that the above action of the then Chancellor of NUJS. Why the Ex- Chancellor did not consitute the above University Review Commission ? is a question which remains unanswered till date.Whom the Ex- Chancellor was trying to protect? When the VC resigned why was he asked to withdraw his resignation and why the resignation of the Registrar was accepted ? Till date all remains unanswered. If I am not wrong, the particular Judge was also present in that EC and GC meeting. Why UGC is not making an enquiry inspite of the directive of MHRD. Is that the snale in NUJS will come out.... and all will be caught ?
