MPL 4: The home of Indian mooting

An RMLNLU Lucknow team comprising of Roli Sharma, Smrithi M Punnoose and Shradha Rakhecha made it all the way to the semi-finals at the 17th Annual Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition in Florida.

The team finished also won the award for the second-best memorial at the Moot, which is categorised as Tier 2 World Class in the Mooting Premier League (MPL) 4 sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills.

Punnoose and Sharma were judged the fifth and sixth best speakers of the preliminary rounds respectively, as published on the Stetson website today.

The moot was won by Pepperdine University School of Law (which also picked up best speaker) against Law Society of Ireland in the finals, which were hosted by Stetson University College of Law between 21 and 23 March 2013.

Team MPL is waiting for more updates of Indian performances on the moot if any; MPL ranking table to be updated.

International law firm Herbert Smith is sponsoring the Mooting Premier League (MPL) and will contribute a prize pool of Rs 60,000 for the top three winning colleges.
