News in brief: Former Luthra & Luthra Delhi indirect tax associate and NLU Jodhpur 2008 grad Sameer Jain starts up a litigation and tax advisory practice Pamasis Law with his brother, former Fox Mandal Bangalore litigation associate and Lucknow university 2006 grad Sidhharth Jain, this August, after both resigned from their firms in July.

“There was always this thing, I wanted to do something of my own. There is only so much you can grow [in a big firm setup] and I wanted to do litigation. I could have done litigation [in the firm setup] but I wanted to do independent work, go to court everyday, and that’s how I started up,” says Sameer Jain.

Sidhharth Jain, who has recently also started assisting a Noida-based advocate told Legally India that he is also looking to substantially add to his five years of litigation experience while using it to build the practice at Pamasis: “Whenever you start something it is a bit of a struggle.”
