Bangalore’s dilapidated lower courts need work done: Karnataka CJ

Karnataka Chief Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar has promised to overhaul the dilapidated court infrastructure facilities in Bangalore’s lower courts following a surprise inspection undertaken on behest of the advocates association.

The chief justice was appalled by the poor state and upkeep of administration in the lower court premises, especially with the dirty toilets, over-crowded and choking court halls, lack of parking space amongst a host of other shortcoming which he assured to look into.

DNA reported that the justice’s decision to relocate the labour court as a part of the plan along with suggestions to improve the existing infrastructure.
