Amarchand Mangaldas and K&S Partners steamrollered Desai & Diwanji and Sai Krishna Associates respectively with over 200 runs, in two of last weekend's six matches between 12 teams at the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) – Khushal T-20 cricket tournament in Delhi.

Meanwhile, the 2009 Turf Delhi Twenty20 champion Titus & Co swept past opponent Fox Mandal Delhi in its very first league match.

Amarchand Mangaldas batted first in the second match of the tournament after last week's victory of Luthra & Luthra over Trilegal. Amarchand scored 202 runs after losing 7 wickets against Desai & Diwanji.

Desai & Diwanji’s low score of 85 runs all-out ensured Amarchand's victory with a bonus point.

Vaibhav Mishra and Viplav Sharma’s quick fire knocks of 76 runs in 44 balls paved way for an easy victory for Amarchand. Viplav Sharma was declared man of the match with 64 runs in 34 balls.

In the third match played on 27 Febraury Sai Krishna lost to K&S Partners when the former failed to chase a monstrous target of 206 runs. Sai Krishna could only score a respectable 167 runs in 20 overs. K&S court clerk Brijesh Tiwari was man of the match.

JSA won over Khaitan & Co with an extra two runs and ended up scoring 152 runs in its second innings in the last match of Sunday evening.

JSA team captain and senior associate Trisheet Chatterjee said: "We reached the target convincingly in the 18th over with five wickets to spare.

"The star performers with the bat were Sidharrth Shankar who scored a brilliant 67 runs and Mohit Bakshi who scored 59 runs. As far as bowling is concerned, Sidharrth and I took two wickets each. Bharat Sharma, Abhishek Munot and Krishan took one wicket each."

The fourth match that pitched last year’s winners Suri & Co against Kochhar & Co resulted in victory for Kochhar. Suri & Co made a total 142 runs in 20 overs falling short of the targeted 191 runs.

Titus bowled out Fox Mandal at 85 and then easily chased the required score for winning the fifth match of SILF – Kushal tournament played on 28 Feb. Titus opening batsman and associate Raj Kamal got the man of the match title.

In the sixth match played last Sunday, Lall & Sethi managed a winning score of 143 runs as against AZB's total of 140. Managing partner Chander Lall’s 38 runs in 20 balls qualified him as the man of the match.

Cricket matches of SILF tournament were inaugurated on 21 February by acting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court Madan Lokur.
