Luthra & Luthra is continuing its run of on-campus hires after visiting NUJS Kolkata and making further offers to NALSAR Hyderabad students, with the firm set to visit and recruit from NLSIU Bangalore next week.

The firm has made pre-placement offers (PPOs) yesterday to five National University of Juridicial Sciences Kolkata (NUJS) students after visiting the campus.

Three NALSAR students have also been offered jobs in 2010, after Luthra & Luthra had already made offers to four students from the school, as reported last month.

Luthra & Luthra senior partner Mohit Saraf (pictured) supervises recruitment and said that most of the students would be joining the firm's Mumbai office once they graduated.

Delhi-headquartered Luthra & Luthra has been trying hard to expand in Mumbai, which lies outside of its traditional power base.

The firm is due to visit and recruit more students from National Law School of India University Bangalore.

Luthra & Luthra had made 10 PPOs to students from National Law University (NLU) Jodhpur, NALSAR and NLSIU last month.

Amarchand Mangaldas and Trilegal have both already finished their direct campus recruitment for 2010, each making offers to around 40 and 14 students respectively.
