What else do you think could be the reason for Siddharth Shah and Bijal Ajinkya moving out after 14-16 years at NDA. After a point of time you just can't keep people with money....they need equity. Without that there's no sense of ownership.
Conflict of interest, clearly. They aren't Amarchand - they won't act for two different sides on a transaction.
Yeah,THEY aren't Amarchand - which is why a client will never bother with instructing them, waiving conflict etc. for them to act on more than one side of the deal.
