Clove Legal, Samvad on $1m Sminq fundraising

Clove Legal advised queue management app Sminq on raising $1m from various venture funds led by Saama Capital and Blume Ventures. Saama was advised by Samvad.

Clove co-founding partner Dharmesh Kotadia and associate Nupur Rustagi acted for Sminq.

Samvad partner Neela Badami and associates Sindhushree Gadasalli and Divya Shankara acted for Saama.

“Sminq charges doctors a fee to be listed on the app and recently introduced the option to pre-pay consultation and other fees through the app. Within the first five days of rolling out this feature, it generated payments worth Rs 35,000,” reported the Economic Times.
