NLU Delhi bagged 16 Big Six law firm jobs out of 45 jobs secured by 73 graduates this year, through a mix of on campus and off campus interviews and pre placement offers (PPO), according to figures disclosed by its placement committee.
Domestic and foreign law firm roles accounted for the biggest chunk of the recruited class, followed by three going to senior advocates chambers, and two having confirmed Supreme Court judicial clerkships. Four went for alternative legal careers or NGOs, and three secured in-house roles.
52 students from the class participated in campus recruitment, and seven joined top foreign law schools for LLMs. NLU Delhi’s placement committee was not able to confirm whether individual offers were made through campus interviews and placements and secured independently.
Legally India has already reported that AIL Mohali placed 35 out of 80 2014 graduates, RGNUL placed six out of 70 2014 graduates, Big Six law firm jobs made up 25 out of 42 jobs bagged by NLSIU 2014 graduates, 25 out of 72 jobs bagged by NUJS 2014 graduates, and 26 out of 71 jobs bagged by Nalsar 2014 graduates.
None of the Big Six visited HNLU’s campus where 29 out of 81 graduates secured jobs, while RMLNLU set a new institutional record with 45 jobs for its 150 graduates this year, and NUALS placed one-third of its 2014 graduates.
Editor’s note: We are reaching out to other 2014 recruitment committees who have now graduated. We remain hopeful that CNLU Patna, GNLU Gandhinagar, Christ Bangalore, NLIU Bhopal and NLU Jodhpur will disclose soon. Please get in touch with us at to arrange sharing the final figures.

You want to be a social activist, then your background shouldn't matter.
Of course, it is sometimes satisfactory to see insecurity and pathetic behaviour.
Batch of 2014 if you think you are the best, then learn to behave like one.No point trying to blow your own trumpet, and that too so bloody out of tune!
Either there's some real pent up anger against NALSAR, in particular the batch of 2014, or you dimwits didn't read the article to understand the reference. I'll go with the latter.
Not to mention, they are actually good. :)
Personal experience.
