IndusLaw promotes Harman Walia, Mayukh Datta to partner amongst 25 total corp-focused promotions

Corporate transactional saw the lion's share of associate promos, alongside the Delhi and Bangalore offices

Two new partners has been announced at IndusLaw, as well as seven new principal associates and 16 senior associates.

The principal associates promoted to partner are:

  • Harman Walia; Delhi; transactions; 2011 Delhi University CLC, and
  • Mayukh Datta; Bangalore; transactions; 2012 SLS Pune.

Seven new principal associates

The largest number of principal associates was promoted in Delhi, with four, followed by Bangalore, then Mumbai.

(Corporate) transactions saw the greatest number in terms of practice areas, at five new principal associates.

  • Ankita Gupta (Bangalore, transactions),
  • Ashwin Krishnan (Bangalore, transactions),
  • Nikita Goyal (Delhi, transactions),

  • Sourva Nath (Delhi, transactions).

16 new senior associates

Bangalore made up half of the new senior associates, and Delhi consisted of five, as two got the nod in Mumbai and one in Hyderabad.

Corporate transactions also made up 50% of promotions here, with litigation getting three and capital markets two, with the rest split between projects, IPR and advisory.
