Weekly magazine Outlook India has published its rankings of law colleges, following just a short while from rival India Today’s, which had left traditional top 5 national law schools NLU Jodhpur, NLIU Bhopal and NUJS Kolkata out of its top 20 ranks.
Outlook has included Bhopal and Kolkata in third and fourth place, following NLSIU Bangalore, and Nalsar Hyderabad, but NLU Jodhpur has not found a mention.
Read this for more on law school rankings and why to take them with a pinch of salt.

Please don't believe these rankings. Paid cheats
Where would you rank it compared to national law schools?
It's quite hard for us to be objective about ILS and institutes outside the CLAT because their admissions can't be compared with CLAT, where we see everyone's preferences year by year, plus ILS and others are ridiculous opaque / media shy.
For instance, I don't think we've ever published ILS placements. Why is that?
We've tried reaching out a bunch of times but they simply don't seem interested, so how much are we supposed to bend over backwards to extract information out of them like a dentist extracts teeth?
If you have some sway, please talk to your student council or admin, we'd love to report more about ILS, such as placements, faculty hires, initiatives, etc.
We'll reach out to the people you mention though and see if anything interesting is going on at ILS.
My suspicion is that the majority of non-NLUs are rather badly run too and don't want the spotlight of publicity, though many students no doubt are smart and achieve a great many things despite that (as in NLUs).
may be they avoid you as you seems only interested reporting the phony success of NlUs student rather than doing fair reporting in terms of high lighting the achievement of non Nlus Students too, this can be proved from your past reporting as if a student of NLU secure 10 rank in Judiciary exam you will high light that rather than sharing your praises with students who secured 1-9 rank... isnt this a classical example of colonial mindset.
its really funny the way NLU students thinks that being NLU they are undoubtedly the best and thus keep degrading the other colleges. ILS, BVP GLC et al are old traditional institutes and they are maintaining quality since long time and are the alma mater of few of the best of legal brains..!!!
only suggestion to all NLUWalas, don't become an apt example of proverb "The/An empty vessels make the greatest/most/loudest sound"
