Dua Associates' second-largest equity holder Shiraz Patodia will join Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) with her team of partners Priyanka Sharma Goswami and Anusuya Sadhu Sinha, and manager Saloni Tuteja and senior associate Amrita Sharma, reported Bar & Bench.
Update 21:44: SAM managing partner Pallavi Shroff told Legally India: “We are very happy and excited about Shiraz joining us. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience ? which we respect. We look forward to building the firm together.”
Patodia has been at Dua for 29 years and specialises in litigation and arbitration.
SAM's new Mumbai office's managing partner Akshay Chudasama, who joined from J Sagar Associates (JSA), took up his job earlier this week.
