Phoenix promotes 4 to partner

Phoenix Legal has promoted four of its lawyers to partner.

Phoenix co-founder Sawant Singh said: “We congratulate these outstanding lawyers and welcome them to the partnership.

Aditya Bhargava

Aditya is a 2008 NLU Jodhpur law graduate and has been with the firm since 2010.

He is primarily involved in the banking and finance, structured finance and the debt capital markets practice of the firm.

He was part of the team that advised Sanctum Wealth Management on the management buy-out of the Indian private wealth management business of RBS.

He regularly advises banks, financial institutions and investors on a wide range of financing matters including cross-border financings, structured finance, project finance, acquisition financing, trade finance, distressed assets, securitization and debt capital markets.

Debarshi Dutta
Debarshi Dutta

Debarshi Dutta

Debarshi is a 2006 Calcutta University law graduate and has been with the firm since 2015.

He focusses on disputes and contentious advisory work. He specialises in complex high-value disputes and regularly advises and represents a diverse clientele including government-owned and private companies involved in engineering; construction; energy and shipping; banks and financial institutions.

Given his past experience as a practicing advocate before the Calcutta High Court, he regularly appears as an arguing counsel before various courts and tribunals across India.

Pranav Srivastava

Pranav has been with the firm since he graduated from the Amity Law School, Delhi in 2011.

He divides his time between transactional and arbitration work. He focusses on infrastructure, power, oil and gas, construction and technology sectors.

He recently acted for Alfanar on a global acquisition of B2B automation business from Crompton Greaves. He has authored several publications and frequently speaks on a variety of topics in international fora. He is also an officer at the International Bar Association.

Ritika Ganju

Ritika is a 2006 Delhi University law graduate and has been with the firm since 2010. She also holds a master’s degree in Securities and Financial Regulation from the Georgetown University, Washington DC and is also admitted to practice in New York.

She focusses on complex mergers and acquisitions and corporate advisory matters. She advises diverse clients across various sectors including automotive, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, oil and gas and information technology.
