Link Legal steps up corporate with partner duo hire from DGS

Link Legal has hired DGS Associates partner Bhumesh Verma and associate partner Vikas Gaur as partners in corporate, M&A and private equity in Delhi.

Both had joined DGS a year ago from PKA Advocates.

According to Link Legal's press release:

Bhumesh is a 1994 law graduate from campus law centre, Delhi University and has 22 years of rich experience in Corporate Commercial, M&A, Private Equity, Joint Ventures & Regulatory Practices. He started his career with Ajay Bahl & Co. and has since then worked with Khaitan & Co. and Paras Kuhad & Associates. He was last working with DGS Associates. He was also a chevening scholar in 2000 and worked with Ashursts in London as a summer trainee during his scholarship.

Vikas has 10 years of experience in Corporate advisory, M&A, Joint Ventures and Private Equity space. He has earlier worked with Paras Kuhad & Associates & Khaitan & Co. He joins us from DGS Associates. Vikas received his bachelor's degree in BA LLB (Hons) from NLU, Jodhpur.

Link Legal corporate commercial practice head Anand Srivastava said that they would add "immense depth" to the practice.

Managing partner Atul Sharma added: “We are committed to further strengthening our corporate commercial practice and their addition is a step in this direction. I wish them all the very best in their new role”.

DGS co-founding partner Ameeta Duggal commented: "It was good to have Bhumesh and Vikas as part of DGS Associates for a period of 18 months.

"We wish them the best as they move on to Link Legal."
