Juris Corp expands with Bombay solicitor practice

Juris Corp has absorbed AM Law, the practice of Bombay solicitor Mustafa Motiwala and six lawyers, bulking up the firm’s management capacity and advisory strength.

Motiwala, who qualified as a Bombay Incorporated Law Society solicitor in 1996 specialises in commercial law, dispute resolution, intellectual property and real estate.

He will be in charge of managing those practice areas as a Juris Corp equity partner. Two of his lawyers specialise in dispute resolution each with between 11 and 18 years of experience, according to a Juris Corp press release.

Juris Corp founder partner H. Jayesh said in a statement that Motiwala joining would add “greater depth to the firm management” and enhance the strength of the firm.

In December 2010 Juris Corp had started a Delhi office, according to the release.
