Indus, CAM on Canadian Solar buy in Suzlon solar projects

"Canadian Solar Inc. and China’s Unisun Energy Group bought 49 per cent stakes in solar projects being developed by Suzlon Energy,” reported Mint.

IndusLaw partner Avirup Nag, principal associates Abhishek Bhalla and Ray Vikram Nath, and associates Rohan Ghosh and Niyati Bhatt acted for Canadian Solar and also advised the Project special purpose vehicles in negotiating and finalizing the EPC and O&M contracts with Suzlon for development and operations of the Projects.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) partner Ajay Sawhney and senior consultant Ashish Vats acted for Suzlon.
