HSA hires Bangalore independent Sharath Chandrasekhar, now 23 partners

HSA Advocates has continued on its self-set expansion course, hiring Sharath Chandrasekhar in its new Bangalore office.

Chandrasekhar was running Bangalore boutique law firm Citius Law Partners.

He is a 2005 graduate of NLSIU Bangalore and began his career at Axis Bank, followed by four years at J Sagar Associates (JSA) in 2009, going independent as an advocate for a year in 2014, going in-house at Cargill for 10 months in 2015, and starting up Citius in early 2016.

He is dual qualified in India and the US, and holds an LLM from the Duke University School of Law.

The Bangalore office also saw the arrival of partner Megha Arora together with new managing partner Amitabh Sharma from Khaitan & Co in April.

HSA is now 23 partners and associate partners strong.

The firm had also hired Aninda Pal from JurisCorp last month.

The news of Chandrasekhar joining was first reported in our newsletter two weeks ago. Sign up here to be even more in the loop.
