Sundaram who headed up Chennai’s team of around four lawyers, and focussed on taxation and dispute resolution, will also stick to those practice areas in his chamber practice in the Madras high court.

He commented: “I had a nice experience at ELP but moved on as I wanted to go into counsel practice.”

He is a Symbiosis Pune 2005 alumnus and joined ELP as an associate in 2006, was promoted to associate manager in 2010 and associate partner in 2014. He said that the firm is currently looking for someone to head up the Chennai office.
