Cyril Amarchand's Anshuman Jaiswal returns 'home' to Hyderabad office after Sarella exit

Jaiswal returns home

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) Mumbai partner Anshuman Jaiswal, who handles corporate and also heads up knowledge management, is moving back to Hyderabad, folllowing office head Rahul Sarella having left a month ago.

The firm's Hyderabad office is now headed up by local projects partner Harita Rao.

The 2003 Nalsar Hyderabad graduate is a former head of Hyderabad office, having begun his career at Amarchand Mangaldas, as it then was, in Mumbai, later moving to Hyderabad until 2015.

In 2015 Jaiswal moved to Mumbai full-time, as Sarella was hired from Tatva Legal to head up the office.

CAM managing partner Cyril Shroff confirmed his move and commented: “He is a Hyderabad boy and is going home.”

We have reached out to Jaiswal for comment.

Jaiswal was promoted to Hyderabad partner in 2011, following the departure of office head and partner Kartik Mahalingam to the Omidyar Fund.

Mahalingam in turn joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas in April 2016 to head up its Bangalore office.
