Bharucha & Partners has filled out its senior associate ranks by promoting four associates into the position.
Corporate associates Sohrab Khushrushahi and Jay Parikh and litigation associates Anuradha Agnihotri and Krishnayan Sen were promoted to senior associate level.
Prior to the promotions the firm had only three senior associates.
The firm now has 35 lawyers, of whom five are partners and seven are senior associates, said Bharucha founding partner Alka Bharucha.
She explained: "They were due for promotion and are doing good work."
Bharucha added that on the litigation side senior lawyers were particularly able to handle a lot of matters on their own with a lot of responsibility.
In February the firm moved its corporate team into the former offices of Talwak Thakore & Associates, vowing to continue doubling its headcount as it had done in its first two years of existence.
In August of last year Bharucha & Partners took on its first lateral partner with Rukshad Davar joining from his own independent practice.

Good to see you take an assertive stand. Personal attacks in the form of comments are becoming too frequent on your site, and it's good to see you step in and not allow such veiled attacks.
