Designation: Associate/ Senior Associate

Job location: Muscat

Candidates’ required post-qualification experience (PQE) level in years: Minimum 2 Years PQE

Practice area specialisation required: General Corporate - ­commercial

Job description:

• ­Handle and be involved in all general corporate­commercial matters, transactional as well as advisory. ­
• Update himself/herself with the local laws of Oman which include but are not limited to the commercial companies’ law, commercial law, commercial agencies law, foreign investment law and labour law so that he/she is able to respond to clients’ queries appropriately.
• Participate in business development activities aggressively

Candidate requirements:

The firm requires an attorney having atleast 2 years PQE (General corporate commercial experience). The candidate should preferably have law firm experience and experience in the middle east though not compulsory would be given preference. A masters degree is not important. Should be able to handle legal issues and interact with clients independently as well as focus on business development.
