First steps: Creating an Employer account
- Sign in to your existing Legally India account. If you do not have an account yet please register here, then check your email to activate the account and sign in.
- Once logged in browse to jobs.LegallyIndia.com and click the "Create Employer Profile" button.
- You will be asked to create a new "Employer". Job ads can only be created by approved "Employers", which also includes recruitment firms acting on behalf of a client. You can create several Employers under one account.
- Enter the Employer's name in the field. This will be visible to applicants.
- If you prefer to post a job ad without disclosing the prospective employer's name, you can enter a generic description here as long as it is accurate and not misleading (e.g.: Top 5 national Indian law firm; Start-up law firm; Delhi-based LPO firm; Sensex FMCG company; or London headquartered global firm).
- Enter a contact email address. This will not be visible to applicants but will be used to confirm your account and forward you applications from candidates applying to your job ad.
- You can now save and submit the Employer by clicking the orange "Add New Employer" button. If you like you can also fill in further fields and upload an image file of the Employer's logo, which will get featured on various Legally India pages and drive traffic to your job ad.
- You should now have received a confirmation email that your Employer has been submitted for approval.
- Once we have approved the Employer, we will notify you and credit your account with 2 free early-bird "credits" as soon as possible. This will enable you to post up two job ads immediately.

Hover the mouse over any text for a short tool-tip that should help explain what each field means.
- If you would prefer for candidates to contact you directly via email rather than using the Job Site communications interface, please specify your contact details and preferred manner of application in the "Job Description and Application" box (e.g.: Please apply via CV and cover letter sent directly to [person] at [email ID].)
- Once you are happy with the job ad and description, return to the left-most "Job Details" tab and select the "Saved / published" option in the box on the top right.
- Then click the orange "Apply changes" button. If you have enough credits in your account the job will be posted for the world to see. If you do not have any credits in your account, the job ad will be saved as a draft and you can publish it later once you have sufficient credits.
