M&A

Amarchand Mangaldas principal associates Nisha Uberoi, Anubhuti Agarwal and senior associate Natashaa Shroff, with chartered accountants Sudith K Parekh & Co, advised Japanese-owned NHK Automotive Components India’s Rs 180.5 crore purchase of the BCL Springs Division of Wadia Group company Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation, which was advised by Udwadia & Udeshi. KS Partners (formerly known as Khaitan Jayakar Sud & Vohra (KJSV)) partner Tanuj Sud, with senior associate Sujeet Das and associate Jayant Gupta advised on the 1980MW (3x660MW), coal-based supercritical thermal power project at District Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh with a project cost of Rs 11,848 crore, engaged by the State Bank of India-led consortium of 19 lenders.
