Trilegal, CAM, Khaitan on $25m Hungama funding

Trilegal advised online entertainment content aggregator Hungama Digital Media Entertainment on its fundraising round which was led by smart device maker Xiaomi Singapore advised by Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

The round also included infusions from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners which was advised by Khaitan & Co, Intel Capital Corporation and Hungama’s existing shareholders.

Hungama raised $25m (Rs 170 crore) through this round, reported the Economic Times.

Trilegal Mumbai partners Sridhar Gorthi and Kunal Chandra, senior associate Anjali Menon Malhotra and associate Aditi Jain acted for Hungama.

CAM partner Arun Prabhu and senior associate Suvojit Halder acted for Xiaomi.

Information on the team acting from Khaitan was not available at the time of going to press.
