SAM, D&D on Driplex stake sale to Suez

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas advised Suez Environnement and Degremont on its majority stake buy in Driplex Water Engineering and Driplex Water Engineering International from Driplex’ promoters KL Jain and family who were advised by Desai & Diwanji.

SAM Delhi partners Amit Kumar and Saurav Kumar, principal associate Varun Sehgal and associates Harman Walia and Manika Mishra, assisted Suez Indian subcontinent general counsel Prarabdha Jaipuriar. Suez, according to SAM’s press release, has geared up to respond more effectively to India’s increasing industrial water demand and stringent environmental regulations through this deal.

D&D Delhi partner Raghav Mathur and associates Amanjot Malhi and Jatin Mittal acted for KL Jain and family who sold their stake in Driplex.
