ELP, SAM on $3m Prism Cement buy in BLA Power

Economic Laws Practice (ELP) advised thermal power company BLA Power on Prism Cement’s acquisition of 15.23 per cent stake in it for 21 crore ($3m). Prism was advised by Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM).

SAM Mumbai partners Deepto Roy and Jay Parikh, principal associate Vishaka Prasad and associate Anjali Viswamohanan acted for Prism.

“The firm has also entered a power supply agreement (PSA) and other related agreements/documents with BLA Power for the purchase and consumption of 25 MW of RTC (Round The Clock) power,” reported the Economic Times.
