There is no thumb rule, I guess. Over the years, I have interviewed and recruited several lawyers. One of the best candidates I have ever recruited mentioned that she worked part time as a waitress in a restaurant while studying law in the U.K. This caught my eye because it reflected the candidate\'s independence and recognition of the dignity of labor, apart from taking pride in one\'s own work.

Quote : \"Should I mention work experience outside of the law? \"

NEVER mention work experience outside the law! Do not discuss your illegal escapades to your employers, prospective or current. LOL - Pranay Agrawala
