Vinod Dhall in collaboration with Talwar Thakore & Associates (TT&A) advised French drugmaker Sanofi on getting Competition Commission of India (CCI) approval for its $25bn asset swap deal with Germany-based Boehringer Ingelheim which was advised by Platinum Partners.
TTA competition head Vinod Dhall and associates Sonam Mathur, Avinash Amarnath and Mansi Tewari acted for Sanofi.
Platinum Delhi partner Gaurav Desai, and associates Vijay Chauhan and Divya Mehra acted for Boehringer.
“The approval by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) is part of the local regulatory clearances required for the global asset swap between the two companies announced in June,” reported Mint.

It will be interesting to see how firms such as these do compared to larger firms such as Khaitan, SCAM and AZB over the next 5 years. If the market remains as it is.
