SFLC.in, Democratic Alliance for Knowledge Freedom (DAKF) and InfoPark Ernakulam Public Library Branch are jointly organising a discussion session to gather inputs from various stakeholders for the upcoming IT Policy of the Kerala State Government.The participants include Government representatives, Free Software Activists, Industry representatives, civil society organisations, Trade Union representatives and others. The workshop will be held on 16th July 2016, 9:30 am at the Tapasya building, InfoPark, Kakkanad, Kochi. The workshop will be inaugurated by Dr. M.P. Sukumaran Nair, Advisor to Minister Of Industries, Chairman RIAB, Kerala State Government. Mr. Joseph Thomas, President, Free Software Movement of India will present the theme paper for discussion. This will be followed by discussions by the participants. Prof. Jyothi John (IHRD), Mr.Anilkumar K.V (Keltron), Mr. Prasanth Sugathan (SFLC.in), Mr. Rishikesh (SMC), Unit Heads of various companies at InfoPark will lead the discussions.
