AIBE-IX results (hopefully) postponed to end of April

The All India Bar Exam’s (AIBE IX) results will be delayed this time as well, according to Live Law’s sources.

The results were due to release before Friday, according to the notification released on the AIBE’s website one day after the 6 March 2016 bar exam, as reported earlier.

However, the results are still not published and according to Live Law’s “sources in the AIBE” the results will be released by the end of April.

While the AIBE-VIII results were on time, the results of the bar exam editions held before that were not on schedule neither was the AIBE-IX exam itself – it was delayed by almost three months.

A constitution bench of the Supreme Court is set to test the legality of the AIBE this month, including the competence of the Bar Council of India (BCI) to conduct it in a fair and transparent manner, as reported on Legally India.
