The answer key of the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2015 for entry into NLU Delhi’s LLB program, has two errors which have not been corrected, but the result of the exam has been published.
NLU Delhi is not a part of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) which regulates admissions to all other national law universities in India. It conducts its independent entrance test, AILET.
AILET results, merit list, question paper and answer key have already published on its website.
Two answers may have been wrongly marked in the answer key.
Answer 13 – option “A” is a better answer
The official answer was (d) in question 13, where candidates had to choose the word that was the odd one out.
However, options (b), (c) and (d) are actual legal terms, whereas option (a) is a word not used legally.
On the other hand, the meaning of option (a) matches with options (b) and (c) as describing alleged wrongdoers or respondents in legal matters.
As such, there are possibly two similarly correct answers and marks could either be awarded for (a) or (d), though perhaps for answer (a) it would be unfair to expect legal knowledge of candidates.
Answer 20 – option “A” not “D” is the answer
The Cambridge dictionary meaning of the phrase “to flog a dead horse” is: “to waste effort on something when there is no chance of succeeding.”
In the answer key option (d) was marked. This better answer according to the dictionary definition would be option (a).
We have reached out to NLU Delhi for comment.
NLU Delhi has selected 52 general candidates and 19 reserved category candidates for admission to the LLB program in its first merit list.
Students and two CLAT coaches have pointed out up to 30 potential errors or impossible questions in the 2015 Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) paper.
Hat-tip to Rajneesh Singh for pointing us towards these.

If such nonsensical reasoning is allowed then in Q 12 A should be the answer..Why? because rest are vowels.
The reasoning I am employing is standard and used across board for all competitive exams UPSC, MBA, Bank PO etc.
