At least 21 law grads in UPSC merit list, 5 from NLSIU including topper

At least 21 law graduates have topped the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) main exam, obtaining between ranks 14 and 1209, as first reported by Lawctopus.

NLSIU Bangalore has produced five UPSC toppers this year including the law graduate who secured a top 20 rank, Saket M, at rank 14. Three NLU Delhi and Nalsar Hyderabad alumni each and two from NLIU Bhopal were also in the top ranks.

The other toppers were from Panjab University, ILS Pune, NUJS Kolkata, GNLU Gandhinagar, SLS Pune, CLC Delhi, HNLU Raipur and RGNUL Patiala.

Seven out of the 21 topping law graduates were women. Four women from Delhi emerged as the top four rankers this year in the civil services exam the results of which were declared on Saturday.
