The mediation between Amarchand Mangaldas co-managing partners Shardul Shroff and Cyril Shroff over the break-up of the firm may conclude as early as tomorrow, Monday, with both brothers keen to set up their new firms on Tuesday 21 April 2015 - Akshaya Tritiya - which is one of the Hindu calendar’s most auspicious days, according to sources close to the dispute.

The day is considered auspicious for starting new ventures. The legend is that any venture initiated on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya continues to grow and bring prosperity. Hence, new ventures, like starting a business, construction, etc. is performed on Akshaya Tritiya.
It is understood that Cyril and Shardul both intend to finalise all issues relating to the dissolution and establishing of new firms by tomorrow.
In 2012, the Shroffs had revealed a radical restructuring of the firm's management and partnership, a plan that was dubbed Amarchand 3.0

Where are we heading ! We indian has to refer Wikipedia to say something about " Akshya Tritiya"

c) aware of all auspicious days of the Hindu calendar.

One of my Christian friend ( Indian) wished me " Wish U a Good friday" . I wished the same but also told him to google about " Good Friday"

Though branding, setting up emails, etc may take a few days to weeks, sure.
Associates - interesting question. I'm not sure if contracts will have to be changed. Maybe the AMSS contracts have change of control clauses? Or maybe the old partnerships - which are separate for each region anyway - will continue paying retainers, etc, with Shardul resigning from Mumbai and Cyril from Delhi partnerships?
In any case, even if new contracts need to be executed, it's not something that a big HR department such as Amarchand's wouldn't be able to handle in a few days.
1. Expressing shock when something is repeated to you for the 100th time.
2. Demanding something (preferably beginning with "Please specify") which the other party has probably no power to give.
