Amarchand Mangaldas intellectual property (IP) partner Ranjan Negi, who relocated to Gurgaon from Delhi when it was opened in September of last year, will leave the firm.
Delhi-region partner Pallavi Shroff said via email that Negi had resigned but that the IP practice would continue as before.
Negi could not be reached at the time of going to press.
Delhi-based IP partner Dev Robinson was recently told that he would be elevated into the equity of the Delhi-region partnership, once a new firm is set up after the end of mediations between, respectively, Delhi and Mumbai-based co-managing partners and brothers Shardul and Cyril Shroff.

"asked to leave" ...ummm Interesting...
Any news about the senior associates of his team who have also left the Firm? Are they also planning to leaving with him or have they joined separately somewhere else?
Keep reading LI for further gossip!!
Were the two senior associates merely executing their partner's commands or were they involved in the alleged data theft too?
This top management sickens me.
