Modi likes foreigners (white guy: not a lawyer)"Why should we need to go outside the country for global arbitration? We shouldn’t think that if foreign lawyers come here, they will take away our jobs,” said prime minister Narendra Modi, for the first time publicly weighing in on the liberalisation debate, adding that fears that foreign lawyers would dominate the local profession were unfounded.
The government’s commerce ministry has been pushing hard to make a credible plan for the entry of foreign lawyers, with even the main opponents, such as the Society of Indian Law Firms (Silf), having been forced to temper their opposition in the face of the government’s agenda.
Modi was speaking during the inauguration of the commerce ministry’s three-day Global Exhibition on Services (GES), as reported by the Economic Times and others.

Also, it's a bit of a joke on using a generic white guy to stand in for foreign lawyers (the guy in the picture is Michael Bloomberg).
