The Bar Council of India (BCI) has published the full list of 59 All India Bar Exam (AIBE) test venues – increased from 44 venues in the first exam – and clarified that those examinees who have been unable to download their admit cards, could sit the exam after showing four documents.
The list of exam centres was published on the official AIBE website today and sets out 59 venues. The Delhi NCR region has only two venues at Amity Law School in Noida and ITM Law School in Gurgaon, while Mumbai has four test centres, and Bangalore only one. However, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra boast eight centres each, more than any other state.

The last AIBE in January ran into minor trouble in Tamil Nadu again, as groups of lawyers were protesting the exam again.
The AIBE website also made further allowance for candidates who were unable to download their admit cards over the website, by allowing them to turn up at “the nearest centre” with proof of their application:
In case admit card is not found in the database due to any unavoidable reasons such as late or non receipt of form or incomplete form while the candidate has proof of application submission then please take out a print of the undertaking available here and reach the nearest center (refer to the Center List) along with:
1. Copy of the application form and
2. Bank challan copy and
3. State bar council enrollment number and
4. Valid ID proof

The admit cards were first made available for download late on Tuesday, though some candidates have reported that they were unable to download it.
A new test pattern for the exam was announced late last week.

i would be grateful if somebody could clarify...
There is significant confusion over the primary exam center for Bangalore.
My admit card states that Exam Centre No. 5 is the Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, NH7, Vidya Nagar.
The AIBE website states that Exam Centre No. 5 is SVCE Engineering College on OLD Airport Road. (Note that "SVCE"
Which location is correct? The two places are at least an hour apart, even on a Sunday morning, so if you go to the wrong center you are finished.
LI - This is worth a clarification post and a call to the BCI. These are two very different locations, each tagged as Exam Centre No. 5, with no way to easily verify. LI, Can you help?
Bangaloreans, let's clear up this confusion.
He said it would be forwarded to and rectified by "the agency" if there's any problem. So, am not sure what the correct answer is at present.
If you find out anything, please let me know.
Why not you guys take up the following irregularities in AIBE-IV Examination.
1-Fee has been revised from Rs. 1300 to Rs. 1900. Astonishing to know that BCI is not providing the study material this time. Rs. 600 increase without study material indicates some undertable dealing between BCI and ITES Horizon.
2-Also this time they are not sending the admit card and study material to candidates which means that cost of application should be less from the last time as no input cost is involved.
3-Mostly Law colleges are appointed as examination center for AIBE which is ridiculous that this examination is of Law subject with open book and invigilated by law teachers, where is the sanity of the examination?
4-Model question paper uploaded on website are more of general knowledge type rather than law
subject .This paper is of similar to Civil services General studies paper of polity section. It might be the case of non availability of paper setter either from ITES side or BCI side.
5-New Examination cities has been added without thought. Bokaro has been given one of the Centre which is not the center in last AIBE and also the college where this AIBE center is in Bokaro belongs to the owner of ITES Horizon.
6-Delhi have no AIBE center, ridiculous that BCI not find any center in Delhi region(Gurgaon and Noida are the centre).Candidate from North delhi has to travel either Gurgaon & noida to take the test.
7-AIBE helpline is shifted from BCI premises to NOIDA(ITES office). Why?
The above points are only upto pre test process, still the d-day is on 9th Dec where you must get some shocking news during implementation of examination.
