Leading Indian cinema chain PVR made a preferential issue of equity worth Rs 260 crores ($47.5m) to its promoters, French fashion major L Capital, and new private equity investor Multiples Private Equity Fund. Multiples will invest Rs 153 crores, L Capital will spend Rs 82.3 crores to hold 15.8 per cent each and the promoters will invest Rs 25 crore to hold 32 per cent.

Domestic courier service Blue Dart Express’ promoters made an offer for sale of Rs 1.43 crore of shares, with a floor price of Rs 1720 by majority shareholder DHL Express Singapore - a division of German logistics company Deutsche Post. International financial conglomerate Citi drafted the share trade agreement, acting as the stock broker to undertake the offer.
