Amarchand Mumbai, AZB B'lore help Infosys buy US company for $120m

Amarchand Mangaldas, Morgan Lewis & Bockius and its Singaporean merger partner Morgan Lewis Stamford advised India’s second largest software firm Infosys, on its $120m buy of US-based digital and mobile commerce solutions provider Kallidus.

Kallidus was advised by AZB & Partners and Fenwick & West.

Amarchand Mumbai partners Ashwath Rau, Bangalore partner Nivedita Rao and Mumbai partner Nisha Uberoi, Morgan US partner Thomas W Kellerman and Singapore lawyer Parikhit Sharma acted for Infosys.

AZB Bangalore partner Srinath Dasari and Fenwick Amsterdam-based visiting foreign attorney Julie Van Den Bergh acted for Kallidus.

The acquisition price of Rs 750 crore includes a deferred component and retention bonuses, reported the EconomicTimes.
