WiFi access in Supreme Court to be available from today

The Supreme Court has wireless internet access available from 930am today (20 April), according to a circular by the Supreme Court.

The access will be chargeable and provided by Firefly Networks Limited - a joint venture between Bharti Airtel and Vodafone India - according to the circular and is intended to “overcome the difficulties being faced by the members of the Bar and other visitors to the Supreme Court in having internet connectivity in the Supreme Court”.

The Supreme Court is notorious for bad reception amongst most mobile phone networks.

@sumit_nagpal tweeted: "useless.. it's 20 minutes a day for free.. rest of the time u have to pay."

If you’ve tried the Supreme Court’s new WiFi and have any feedback, please do share your experience in the comments.
