Nalsar makes first MPL impact, wins 4th Amity Int’l Moot vs NLU Orissa

The team from Nalsar Hyderabad, comprising of Ajatshatru Pandey, Ayush Ranka and Akshay Puri, bested NLU Odisha at the 4th Amity International Moot Court Competition, which was held from 9 to 11 October 2014.

The moot proposition was based on International humanitarian law and refugee law and the forum was the International Criminal Court.

NLIU Bhopal clinched the Best memorial award while the Best Counsel citation went to Mary Kavita Dominic of NUALS, Kochi. The Best Researcher award was given to Vishudha Prakash of CNLU, Patna. Government Law College, Mumbai and NUALS, Kochi were the other two semi finalists at the Tier 4 moot.

This moot saw NUALS Kochi, GLC Mumbai, CNLU Patna and Amity Noida making their MPL 6 Debut.

Note: Apologies for the delayed coverage, we’re getting back on track and regular schedule catching up shortly. Please also note that the BR Sawhney Moot coverage erroneously awarded only Tier 5 points, whereas it is a Tier 4 moot. This has now been corrected.
