Amarchand Mangaldas Delhi finance and insolvency practice head and partner Pranav Sharma, who returned to the firm in August 2012 after a six year stint at Linklaters, will relocate to the firm’s Mumbai office as a partner in the banking and finance practice on 1 February.
The NLSIU Bangalore 2001 graduate and England and Wales qualified solicitor said in a press release that he was excited for and looked forward to the relocation.
Amarchand Mumbai managing partner Cyril Shroff said in the release: “He will be a valuable asset in the firm’s banking practice team. This is a major focus area for the firm going ahead. With his background and international exposure, we are sure he will be able to contribute. Pranav was keen on the opportunity and I wish him all the very best in his new role.”
Delhi managing partner Shardul Shroff said: “I wish Pranav all the very best in his new assigment.”
In April Amarchand Delhi litigation partner VP Singh also relocated to Mumbai.

You have no idea do you? Comparing Bhojani with Pranav! There is a lot more to this relocation it seems, considering the reputation Pranav has.
But some resources will have to be mobilised. Its difficult to match up unless Cyril himself takes charge of the Banking practice.
So dont be jumpy and bhavnaao ko samjho!
